Lidl Peterborough - Hampton Avenue (Opening 19/11/26)

We are a Primary school based in Westwood in Peterborough and we currently offer a weekly foodbank to families in need. Demand for this has increased substantially in the last few months and we are hoping to be able to supplement the boxes with any surplus stocks from local businesses. We are also setting up a community Hub and hope to benefit the wider community any resources which may be able to help our Hub or school would be greatly appreciated!

YMCA Trinity Group is a locally-based charity at the heart of the community. We enable young people to develop to their full potential in mind, body and spirit to give them a brighter future. Our support is spread across Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and into Northamptonshire. We provide supported accommodation to 16 to 25yr olds, Health and wellbeing to the community, support and advice including a range of mental health therapeutic interventions and training. Childcare, youth justice services, training and education including apprenticeship opportunities and a range of local community youth led services.

FoodCycle is a national charity that builds communities through the power of good food. FoodCycle is based upon the simple idea that waste and poverty should not co-exist and that something powerful can be achieved by cooking and eating together. Every week, volunteers across the country reclaim surplus food destined for the bin. This food is instead cooked into healthy, tasty three-course community meals for vulnerable people.
