How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Lidl has donated volunteer time, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

'Brackla Pantri Store', Brackla Primary School (Big Bocs Bwyd Brackla)

Bridgend, UK

At Brackla Primary School we are proud to be able to offer a Pantri Store within our school, our aim is that no child goes hungry. We open our Pantri store once a week for our families both from Brackla Primary and Flying Start which also have a setting within the school grounds, families are encouraged to use the Pantri store and it has been very successful with regular families using it weekly. Families pay a small fee and are then given a bag that they can fill, they are able to choose their own items. We are looking for local businesses that are able to provide food for our ever growing Pantri so that we are able to give families as much choice as well as making sure we can help as many families that we can. We are able to collect from local stores depending on the day as the 'Pantri' only opens once a week so we need to ensure the food is collected before our opening day and not after, we are able to accept all kinds of food perishables and non perishables as we have the facilities to keep the food fresh. Thanks for taking the time to read about our amazing 'Pantri Store'. Claire Brown
