GAIL's Bakery Crossrail Place (opening 2nd July)

The Dockland Settlements is a long-established charity working across East London through community centres in Stratford, the Isle of Dogs and Rotherhithe. We support local people of all ages by providing practical help, welcoming community spaces and a wide range of social, sporting, creative and wellbeing activities. Our services are designed to reduce isolation, improve health and wellbeing and support people facing poverty or disadvantage. Our work includes food support and warm spaces, activities for children and families, social opportunities for older people, affordable sports and recreation and volunteering opportunities that help residents build skills, confidence and stronger community connections. We welcome support that helps us respond to local need across our centres. This includes donations of surplus food and essential household items, funding for community activities and support from volunteers who can help with food distribution, events, administration, maintenance and the delivery of activities. By working with local businesses and community partners we can reach more vulnerable residents and continue providing inclusive and accessible services across East London.
