Ronald McDonald House provides free ‘home away from home’ accommodation at 14 specialist children's hospitals across the UK so that families can remain united and close to their seriously ill child. We are an independent charity, receive no funding from Government bodies and rely solely on the support of our families, businesses and community. Our Camberwell House, located just 5 minutes from King’s College Hospital, supports families from all over the UK. It is equipped with kitchens, playrooms, laundry facilities, has communal lounges and a garden so that families can feel at home. Families can stay as long as their child is being treated, whether that is for a couple of days or for years. Our aim is to create a safe environment where families can focus in helping their child get better without worrying about financial implications such as hotel, travel and food and being able to spend some time together therefore strengthening family stability and mental wellbeing.

We collect donations of food, mostly non-perishable, and toiletries, to redistribute to local people in need of crisis support. We use the Trussell Trust processes of front-line professionals issuing vouchers, so what our volunteers do is issue food at distribution sessions, four times a week. We help on average over 100 households a week, so that has been nearly 6,000 people this last year. Most fall into poverty and debt due to a crisis such as illness or unemployment or benefit delays. In a rich country like the U.K. we don’t see the wealth trickle down to our most vulnerable, so we need to combat austerity with kindness.

WOMEN FOR MORE INTERNATIONAL was founded in February, 2023. A safe community committed in EMPOWERING & SUPPORTING Women - DA survivors, single mothers who are exiting DV, abuse relationships, women who have gone through pains or going through struggles and some sorts of abuse to LIVE unapologetically above limitations and own their POWER to step into their PURPOSE and THRIVE in their businesses, careers and daily living. We currently provide weekly food support through our crisis stabilisation programme to support individuals and families experiencing hardship. We provide weekly food support, we rescue and redistribute surplus food to support single mother, women exiting DV who are rebuilding their lives after DA or challenging circumstances, families facing financial difficulties, people experiencing homelessness, vulnerable members of our community. Through partnerships, volunteers, and community collaboration, Nourish Hub helps reduce food waste while restoring dignity, offering practical support, and ensuring people have access to essential resources during difficult times.
