Our organisation base all Borough in England for homelessness, Disabilities, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Domestic violence, Youth and Adult in needs. We provide accommodation for homelessness through our Outreach workers and through Borough Councils. We provides our clients food as-well as daily needs through assessments and key work meeting by allocating support worker/ project worker as the person to speak with and support them at all time. Our Organisation provides everything needed for their day to day of their recovery including benefits and housing needs. There is Housing benefits for individual when qualify for accommodations under our organisation which staff will apply for, to pay direct to Landlord. Food donations will be used to support these services.

As a Charity we have always provided food and meals to those in need within our immediate community but, shortly after the start of the Pandemic, we soon became aware of a large number of very needy families, many with young children, with insufficient basic food supplies. As a result, we launched a new food initiative, which serviced some 50 needy families each week, with food gleaned from generous supermarkets, and home-made cooking. Chabad Lubavitch NE London & Essex is now actively involved in feeding hundreds of homeless and needy families each day through a local homeless shelter run by volunteers. The food and other goods that we receive from supermarkets is invaluable to us in achieving our aim of never having to turn anyone away who is hungry or needs our assistance in any way. Community Food Hub is a project started by Hackney charity Children With Voices in light of COVID-19 to support the vulnerable, homeless, struggling families and the elderly in our community in this difficult time. We collect donation surplus food to feed and support our community. We support families and children who face holiday hunger, and who, now more then ever, are having a difficult time due to lack of food, lack of access to benefits or difficulty accessing the right support. We need volunteers to help run our Community Food Hubs – dropping of food to the vulnerable and the self isolating, collecting our food donations from various locations, and in the day-to-day running of our hubs. We run 2 hubs around Hackney and are providing 60+ packages weekly, some for large families with small children. These families need our support and are the most at risk and vulnerable in our community – those with children who are carers to their parents, those whose first language may not be English, those who are self-isolating, those with mental health problems. We help by providing them with what they need to survive. We support our local communities.
