St Mark’s is a parish church nestled in a garden square right in the heart of Clerkenwell. A sanctuary in the city, St Mark’s offers rich Anglican liturgy, choral music, fellowship and preaching, and exists to share the peace of Christ with Clerkenwell. St Mark's has recently launched a weekly toddler group for local parents and carers to meet and build relationships, with regular attendance of 20 – 30 people, with around 40 coming to termly craft events. The aim is to foster a local community for those in need of support in a transient city. At each session, we supply parents and carers with a space for 0-4-year-olds to play, a chance to sing nursery rhymes together, and provide refreshments. Our craft events provide free craft materials for children and adults to create together. Every session/event is free to attend and no financial contribution is asked of attendees. Refreshments are supplied throughout the session on a refreshments table, which includes tea and coffee and we have storage to keep various types of food at the appropriate temperature.
