Westminster Wellbeing Pathway
London, UK
our cause is to provide environments and services that both protect and promote health and wellbeing. We support our clients to improve their health, to access the services they need, and to enable clients to better manage their health conditions by helping people to be healthy, facilitating access to early treatment where needed, and ensuring that any treatment provided is the right treatment that works for them. We support our clients to build relationships and connect and coordinate the systems that they need, so they can use those relationships and services to improve their health and wellbeing, sustain accommodation and build a community around them for the long term. Our emergency accommodation helps our clients get off the streets immediately, while we help them on to the next step of their journey away from homelessness. This might be through supporting them to find a detox place, semi-independent accommodation or a private rented home.

Empowering women in excluded communities to become agents for their own change.WAND UK bridges the gap of inequality against women by incorporating the protective characteristics of age, race, religion, sexuality and disability. We exist to support, inspire and empower women and girls through training, building their self-confidence , raising their self-esteem and increasing their self-worth to be able them to participate in and contribute to their communities. Our projects offer volunteering opportunities, training and education to ensure that all women particularly those from BAME communities have a clear understanding of the system and how they and their families can improve their quality of life
We equip vulnerable young girls with tools and life skills such as negotiation, communication, assertiveness and leadership by working in partnership with youth centres encouraging them to become agents for their own change. In Westminster we work with the Avenues Youth Centre.
WAND’s vision is a World at peace, free from discrimination and oppression where every person enjoys all the human rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. A world where and where individual dignity is respected, and all human suffering and hardship is acknowledged with humility and compassion. A world where people seek to understand each other and chose to see the positive in difference. A world where difference is not only respected, but valued and where different cultures can work together in collaboration to build on each others strengths, and overcome collective hardships and difficulties. Our Power Hub CIC
London, UK
Our Power Hub (OPH CIC) operates in the heart of Kensington and Chelsea, initially created to support the local community post the Grenfell Tower Fire in 2017. We work to provide advice and guidance, health and wellbeing support, a range of therapies utilising creative outlets, and to offer unique training and experiences to build confidence and skills for our service users. We aim to add social value, create supportive networks and opportunities, linking communities with local services in order to improve their quality of life. We arrange projects in line with the demand and the voice of those who participate (peer-led), and as a grass-roots organisation, we deliver in accordance with community, cultural and religious needs and our aim is to reach those who may be most in need.
Since 24th January 2023 we have been collecting every Tuesday evening a surplus food donation from our local Pret A Manger Cafe at Ladbroke Grove and have been delivering them to the most vulnerable families in our community who are affected by the rising cost of living crisis. In addition, one of the places we support is the local Bay20 Community Centre, frequented by various groups of people most in need: those affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy, homeless and those from different walks of life struggling to survive. Currently, we are looking at other outlets to give aid to as well.
In March 2022, OPH was recognised and awarded for outstanding contribution to the community by the Mayor of Kensington and Chelsea. We have and continue to make a difference!
