We have a group of volunteers who collect surplus from Marks and Spencers on every school day. The surplus food is then displayed at our school, for our parents to collect and take home. This is an invaluable service, which benefits our parents greatly, especially in times of hardship. There is no charge for this service.
What we've received
Ryde, UK
Ryde Sea Cadets offers young people aged 10-18 the opportunity to learn and grow. From kayak competitions, military drill, and sail training, to life skills such as cooking and sewing. We are there to develop young people to be the best they can be. We are looking for volunteers to assist with basic unit administrative tasks, as well as fundraising and background support. The money raised would allow us to help young people have the opportunity to take trips away, to buy some new teaching material, and update our unit facilities.
