Since 1986, the Soup Kitchen has offered dedicated support to homeless, elderly, lonely and vulnerable people in London. Our mission is to extend a compassionate hand to those in need, offering nutritious meals, everyday essentials and a welcoming sense of belonging to over 200 individuals each morning. In our commitment to holistic well-being, we pioneered Europe’s first on-site mental health drop-in centre within a soup kitchen, recognising and addressing the mental health needs of our guests. With the help of hundreds of dedicated volunteers each year, we aim to provide a safe and warm environment for every individual who walks through our doors. In early 2026, we expect to open our new restaurant in Primrose Hill, which combines the skills and experience of a highly accomplished Executive Chef with a team of recruits who have all experienced homelessness at some point in their lives. Our goal is to upskill our friends by providing them with structured employment, dedicated training and extra support to build long-term careers in the hospitality industry.

Central London Samaritans, based in the heart of London, is the founding branch of the wider Samaritans organisation. Our volunteers provide confidential, non-judgemental, emotional support to anyone who is struggling to cope for whatever reason. We’re here to listen every hour of every day and have provided this support without interruption since opening in 1953 at St Stephen Walbrook. We respond to around 70,000 requests for help each year via phone calls, email and webchat as well as taking our services to vulnerable individuals at highest risk of suicide such as homeless people, people in prison, people in custody and those bereaved by suicide. Anyone can contact Samaritans for free in confidence any time from any phone on 116 123, even a mobile without credit, and the number won’t show up on your phone bill. Every call Samaritans answer could be the one that changes someone's life - the call that ends with someone finding the strength to keep going.

All Souls Serve the City is a registered Charitable incorporated Company (CIO). We exist to see everyone in London flourish in body and soul. We run four different ministries from the All Souls Clubhouse, on Cleveland Street. (See details below) We are currently only seeking surplus stock for our ASLAN ministry. To those affected by homelessness, ASLAN offers individualised care, support, and friendship. ASLAN's services currently involve: -A winter shelter- in partnership with 3 other local churches where we offer 20 beds a night to otherwise rough sleepers. The shelter is funded in part by Westminster Council and we take referrals through St Mungo's outreach workers. -Sleep Site visiting- where an outreach team engages with those sleeping around our building, offers prayer, conversation and signposting to other support services -A brunch every Saturday to those we have met during our morning outreach or through our shelter- up to 45 guests. For those who are Seniors, we seek out the isolated, housebound, and lonely, providing much needed care, support and friendship. - At the moment we run a weekly community meal and home visits to those who are isolated For those in the sex industry who may have been affected by sexual exploitation, modern slavery or human trafficking, Tamar restores hope and provides unconditional support. Tamar uses a multi-agency approach including working alongside the police to engage and offer support. For children and families at our Church of England School, we aim to champion wellbeing and foster an environment where every child can flourish. Each ministry runs a varied programme often involving food! Currently we are seeking food for: Our winter night shelter that offers beds to 20 guests each night who would otherwise be sleeping rough- with an evening meal and breakfast each day. We are currently engaging with the Felix project to help with our evening meals but still looking for ways to lessen the costs of our breakfasts. Our Saturday morning brunches for up to 45 guests every Saturday morning for those affected by homelessness- surplus food would help us to keep our costs down as we run this morning meal.
