The Sevenoaks Larder (formerly The Lockdown Larder) helps residents of Sevenoaks (including Dunton Green, Kemsing, Otford, Riverhead, Seal, Sundridge, Weald) who are struggling to pay for their weekly food shop. Set up by the Care for Our Community Team in Sevenoaks, we want to spread a message of hope and compassion, especially during these difficult times. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and collective actions can make the world a better place. The Sevenoaks Larder will supply a basket of fresh & packaged produce of their choice, including meat, fish, fruit & vegetables, to help the household out, until they are able to get back on their feet again. Our team of volunteers will deliver these items for free, directly to their homes.

House in The Basement

House in the basement is a café for young people aged 11-18, we have free Wi-Fi and the use of computers and iPads. We have a Wii and X-box 360 with a wide selection of games including Fifa 16. The House offers a warm and safe environment for young people to hang out with friends or chat to Youth Workers, we have Volunteers from SAYT Sevenoaks area youth trust) who come in on Wednesdays and on Fridays we have a West Kent alcohol advisor who does a selection of activities in warning young people the dangers of drugs and alcohol. As we have cooking facilities we have a small menu available, you can have the daily special with a drink for just £2.50 or choose from Burgers, Sausages and Fish fingers with oven fries for £2.00, we also do delicious Milk shakes made with ice cream. If you join up for membership, we throw in a free drink and 10% of food orders for your first 3 months.
