Wipers Foundation Wipers Foundation is a grassroots youth organisation working across London to empower young people through meaningful, creative, and positive experiences. Our mission is to support young people, particularly those at risk of exclusion or involved in the youth justice system, by providing safe spaces where they can grow in confidence, develop new skills, and explore positive pathways. High-Impact Programmes Media Spoken word, music, film, and digital storytelling Helping young people express themselves and be heard Technology Coding, gaming, app design, and other digital skills Opening doors to future careers Sport Football, boxing, and fitness activities Promoting mental and physical wellbeing Afterschool Club & Workshops Cooking sessions and other practical activities Providing a safe and engaging space after school Driving Theory Workshops Supporting young people to prepare for driving theory tests Building independence and confidence Youth Advisory Groups Engaging young people in leadership, decision-making, and community projects Providing a platform for their voices to be heard Additional Support 1:1 mentoring and early intervention support Collaborative community projects Working in partnership with local authorities, schools, and the Mayor of London’s Violence Reduction Unit to reduce youth violence Food Donations All workshops and programmes provide food free of charge; young people and families do not pay to access our food support. We do not currently collect surplus food from other retailers, but we are keen to build partnerships with supermarkets, restaurants, and suppliers to expand our capacity. In addition to food provision, our organisation delivers a wide range of services including employability and life skills workshops, afterschool programmes, youth advisory groups, driving theory workshops, and care leaver support. Food provision is part of our holistic approach to ensuring young people are nourished, engaged, and equipped with the tools and opportunities they need to thrive. At Wipers, we build trusted relationships with young people and walk alongside them as they make positive choices for their future, ensuring they are supported, engaged, and empowered to succeed.
