How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Hays has donated volunteer time, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Nottinghamshire Hospice

Nottingham, UK

We help people thought to be in the last year of their life to live as actively and well as possible, with care that puts the highest value on dignity, choice and respect. The help we provide for patients and their loved ones is holistic. We offer compassionate nursing care to meet physical needs, social support to help tackle loneliness and isolation, and counselling and chaplaincy to support spiritual needs. Terminal and life-limiting illness can affect any family at any time. We want our local communities to continue to live well and, with our support, die well. We want people to be assured that, if they or their family are affected, Nottinghamshire Hospice will be there to support them.

The Carlton Academy

Nottingham, UK

We have a school gardening project that students take part in weekly. All the way through summer and winter the children from the school look after the garden as well as plant fruit and vegetables as part of an intervention. In the summer when students are able to pick the fruit and vegetables from the garden, they are involved in preparing evenings where elderly people from local care homes are able to enjoy the food prepared by students and school staff. In order to get the garden going, we are in need of potential funding and donations in order for the children to reach there full gardening potential! Things we would be grateful for would be, - Seeds - Outdoor Plants -Hedges - Trees/saplings - Outdoor Gardening equipment (Any) -Green house equipment (Any)
