Working as a non-profit social enterprise, our primary aim is to deliver well-being and resilience building workshops and parenting courses for families and young people, along with career and employability guidance; supporting the development of the necessary transferable skills to secure future employment. We empower individuals to build their foundations for the future. ​ We take a holistic approach to employability and careers through the inclusion of well-being and resilience; making this an integral part of education and life experience. ​ We aim to: Build confidence, well-being and resilience in young people and parents through participation in workshops and courses Work to promote employability and enterprise skills in young people and families, particularly from vulnerable groups within our society Encourage peer learning and mentoring, participation and engagement in community volunteering Promote interests and activities to develop well-being and social networking

We are a project that works with the community for the community growing food and giving this for free. Our aims are to Reduce food poverty Reduce isolation and loneliness Improve health and wellbeing Improve the environment Educate We provide a safe environment offering therapeutic horticulture, workshops activities, events and work with everyone. We grow food from soil to fork and donate this to the community. We have a community food club which offers people food at affordable prices. For example 10 items for £3.50 15 items for £5.00 30 items for £10.00 This costs people 35p or less and some items could cost them over £3 in a supermarket. This helps people to survive these hard times. We offer emergency food parcels for those in need and all veg grown on site is given for free. In spring/summer we donate free seedlings so that people can grow at home, school and other areas

Centre63 operates a Food Hub 4 days per week at Centre63, supporting families struggling with food poverty. Up until 31st March 2024 we received funding from Knowsley Council. Unfortunately, this is due to come to an end and we are currently devising and putting a new system of operation in place. As from 1st April 2024 we will change our opening times to Tuesday to Thursday 10am - 2pm We will be operating a membership for the Hub, with 256 customers already signed up. The point system will work as follows; The customer will be allowed to purchase 9 points worth of items (food products will be marked as 1 point, 2 points, 3 points) - they can mix products to the value of 9 points. Alongside these products, they will also receive a small bag of veg and a meat product, all of this for £3.50. The customer will then help themselves to the free products we receive through the neighbourly scheme, ie, M&S Food surplus and Sainsbury Food surplus. This has always been well received by our clients and makes a massive difference. Food donations: We have food supplies coming in from Feeding Britain, Fare Share, and Liverpool FC (Red Neighbours) In addition, each week we replenish stock from Fare Share, donations from stores who may have surplus stock to distribute, as well as from the general public and essential items we need to purchase such as milk, eggs and bread. As well as providing food, the Hub offers support with housing, homelessness, money & debt and Benefit advice. Clients who access the Hub have access to this support.
