How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Sainsbury's has donated surplus food and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Queensway Specialist School

Telford, UK

We are a specialist provision school that is set over two sites (Dawley & Hadley) We have several deprived families that struggle with both food and clothes for their children. Currently we are looking at setting up a clothes and food bank for both the children and families and this needs to be on both sites. We are looking to collect both food and clothes that will help and support our families in more ways than one, however, I don't like to admit but we also have members of staff that do struggle from time to time, so I would also like to support them too.
