We feed more than 250 homeless people every week, as well as catering for vulnerable families with children. We organise soup kitchen, drop-in centres, women and children club, pension club. We hope to widen our project by hosting a dementia club for the residents.

Looprun is a response division and part of an independent social enterprise. This is more than food and is part of a supportive services platform to help people get sustained in their own individual way. With up to 94% success rate and seeing once those receiving free Looprun response bags to returning to stores as shoppers with baskets full. These are the impact stories created when all come together to do good for good. Service users are signposted to Looprun mostly from referrals including professionals in social and healthcare. Looprun provides free non perishables, perishable food, toiletries, and brand new clothing to people facing a temporary challenge. Whatever supermarkets, stores, and retailers can do is turned into a grateful donation to a neighbour in need. This is a response to real people in real-time. No food is banked providing a direct in and out service. We believe if the food is stored then a person in need is not getting any food, hence we provide an instant response and instant impact service. Looprun has access to professional volunteers who carry out a confidential support service to people in need. From homeless shelters, hostels, sheltered housing, care homes, soup kitchens and schools. This is a non voucher, free and confidential service. This means Looprun can reach more people in need with food donations. Anyone that receives a Looprun bag of essential food items is sustained thus creating a loop cycle. Dads House is a UK-based organization that provides practical and emotional support to single dads, mums, and their children in times of family breakdowns. Our aim is to ensure that our beneficiaries have access to the resources and services needed to lead healthy and fulfilling lives, addressing the lack of support services available to primary caregivers in socio-economic dire straits. This includes the daily running of a food bank, well-being activities, and a bi-weekly bespoke pro bono law clinic in partnership with Corram Chambers, led by our Family Law Director, Solicitor Simon Bruce. We operate out of an office in West Brompton donated to us by our partners at Earl’s Court Development Company in 2019. Since its inception 16 years ago, Dads House has grown significantly, with the food bank helping 800 families a day over the pandemic, 1500 families a year since, and the family law clinic saw 208 clients from July 2022 to March 2023. Our work has had a significant impact on the mental health and well-being of our beneficiaries and has helped to create a more inclusive society with the help of our 25 committed volunteers and the wider local community. Our organisation addresses isolation, hunger, and underrepresented voices in the family court. This is important because hunger, poverty, and injustice remain huge social issues in the urban setting, and accessing services is often difficult with many organisations overwhelmed. The harsh impact of covid and, according to Bloomberg, the rising inflation in London alone has seen the price of groceries increase 17%, gas and electricity too. It is for this reason that we work tirelessly within the community to familiarise ourselves with the individual struggles of each of our families and ensure they are signposted to the appropriate childminding, housing, and financial services that are outside of our jurisdiction. Although we do offer small grants alongside the food bank if needed. As a small charity, we depend on the generosity of individuals, and small grants from trusts and foundations, however, these are often project-based and do not cover core costs. This leaves us struggling to sustain the electricity running of our refrigerator systems and expanding our services to reach more parents who need our support in keeping their children happy and healthy.
