Grow to Know

London, UK

Grow to Know was born as young people and community took to the streets in response to the Grenfell Tower fire traged as they turned to guerrilla gardening as a way to unify and heal in 2017. Never part of a plan previously, Grow to Know was founded by Tayshan Hayden-Smith in 2020 as a non profit that aims to address societal and environmental issues through creative campaigns exploring the space between design, education and community. Planting seeds in the minds and communities, Grow to Know brings about action through flowers - empowering, educating, inspiring and reconnecting through nature. Grow to Know's mission is to reimagine green space through innovative design and education, reconnecting community with nature so both can thrive. We believe that everyone should have access to green space. Our vision is to design environments where innovative thought can flourish, empowering people to reach their full potential.
