We are called Connecting All Communities, a not for profit organisation based in East London of Hackney. CAC aims to tackle segregation and persuade community cohesion to celebrate our similarities and accept our differences to understand and to apperciate individual uniqueness. We are have been providing food parcels and cultural hot meals to residents in and around Hackney. Since the cost of living has increased the demand of our services triples. We would be really greateful to have wonderful volunteers who are able to help us to help others in many different ways such as collecting and delivery our food parcels and cultural hot meals to people who are unable to come to our centres. We also be thankful for volunteers who can help us work behind the seen at the confort of their own homes Although we are registered at Pembury Community centre, we are delivering most of our activities, programs and projects at Banister House community centre in Homerton area. Our work is not only around food but there are many different tasks that we deliver everyday. We are mainly working from home on voluntery based. We would kindly appreciate if you could kindly give back just a little bit of your time, skills and knowledge to the local communities.

We're a national charity & believe in the empowering impact of book ownership. We gift books that children have grown out of, to those with few of their own, and want every child to experience the emotional pleasure and escapism of a book that they have chosen themselves. **** As many in 1 in 8 disadvantaged children owns no books of their own, whilst 1 in 4 has fewer than ten books. Lack of access to their own books has a significant impact on a child's identity as a reader and as part of their reading community, whilst by age eleven there is a 12 month language development gap between those from 'book rich' and 'book poor' homes. Our goal is simple: to find new homes for the hundreds of thousands of books that children have read and no longer need. Giving families an opportunity to recycle their books helps them to free up space at home, makes use of an idle resource and ensures that every book reaches the widest readership. **** Our book hubs are in London, Leeds and Birmingham and with the help of volunteers have grown organically over the past ten years. This school year we will gift in excess of 1 million books to children and young people throughout the UK. This has only been possible with the help of corporate volunteer support and support in kind (e.g. financial or logistical). We welcome all engagement from organisations that may wish to support us in any of the following ways. And if you've an idea for supporting us that is not listed here, we would love to hear from you! - Volunteers to support our book sorting efforts and volunteer at one of our three hubs - Corporate book drive at your HQ to collect books - Fundraising, partnership, grant and sponsorship support - Logistical support - Pro bono support

The bright morning star prisons and homelessness outreach is an award winning, non for profit organisation that has been service Londoners since 2015, Our aims and objectives is the relief and prevention poverty and homelessness across London. The organisation is doing this by running community outreach, Day centre's, coffee morning and Prisons visits to His Majesty Prisons across London. The Bright Morning Star Prisons And Homelessness Outreach head office is Chartharm Court community hall, Canterbury crescent Brixton SW9 7PT. The Day Centre is 1 Opal Street Peddlar Acre Community hall, Kennighton SE11 4HZ Although the organization in base in Lambeth but we Outreach to Homeless, rough sleepers and Prisons inmates in Southwark, Wandsworth, Croydon, West Minister Councils. and Stratford. Our organisation is a first point contact for ex offenders, rough sleepers and the homeless to get support for reintegration after they left prison. We run 5 days a week with the help of our dedicated volunteers, management and staff. The bms activities include coffee morning, food sharing community food service, , food pick up and distribution, prison visit, outreaches, housing advice, benefit advice, sign posting, trainings. art and craft, one to one counselling service and mediating between landlord and tenants. We support, elevate and help to rebuild the lives of the the most vulnerable people in London eg older people, job seekers, those on low income, Assylum seekers, refuges and the homeless people etc. The BMS is a Registered Contractor to Lambeth Council and community hall that we are using in Chartham court belong to the Council that has seen the good work that we do and offer us the space to use. we use the hall 7 days a week for the past 2 years. The Council refurbished the hall and launching was done in August 2025. We continue to partners with Job Centres that attend day centre in Kennington, Streatham and Kennington Job Centre twice a Month, Hygiene Bank, Greggs food Foundation cooperative stores, Pret A Manger Look Ahead homeless shelter, Stockwell probation services, Wandsworth Probation, and healthy living platform Lambeth, Felix Project and Fares hare, St Mathew Estate, Mursel hall, Cooperative store etc
