The Caterpillar Project at Doddington and Rollo Community Roof Garden

London, UK

Our exceptional 1/2 acre community garden farm behind Battersea Park, secluded amongst council blocks, atop a converted car park. We’re growing it to be a pinnacle of People & Planet across the community of London, that we can all turn grey city spaces to green. A garden farm of colour & flavour to slow down and express oneself… Bringing everyone together from the young to the old, taking small bites at a time to make a difference.

Promoting the importance and value of healthy lifestyle choices. 5. Enabling older people to learn new skills, including those that can improve employment opportunities. 6. Combating social isolation. 7. Providing free and low-cost services to ensure accessibility and equality of opportunity to the diverse community of older people in Southwark.
