Lidl Tadley

The TDCA is a registered charity and is responsible for the management and maintenance of two buildings, The Link and The Point. TDCA aims to promote the buildings as a focal point of the local area by providing a wide variety of resources and services for the community including pre-school provision, health activities, clinics, senior citizen clubs, parent and toddler groups, activities for those with learning disabilities, youth activities and life long learning and social gatherings. The TDCA does not receive any annual revenue funding from central or local government. Its annual running costs are met by the actions of dedicated staff and volunteers generating income through hall hirings and social events.

Our vision is to give people who are homeless, vulnerable or in need of support, the opportunity to build a brighter future. Our mission is to provide safe, flexible and reliable client led housing and support services that focus on reducing homelessness, improving health and wellbeing and building on individual’s skills and resilience. We are running the most amazing Christmas day at the Ambrose Allen centre in Tadley, Basingstoke. The day starts with an optional church service, then at 12pm the festivities begin! We have a number of games and quizzes, festive music and then a delicious homecooked meal. Afterwards a Christmas sing song and pass the parcel. The event is aimed at anyone who is lonely during the Christmas period or financially unable to provide food for the family. Our guests range from young to old. It is now in it's 7th year and growing year on year, Last year we had around 80 guests who all enjoyed the Christmas festive spirit.
