How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Sainsbury's has donated money, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Verified resources received

Hopeworx

Rayleigh, UK

We receive donations from supermarkets, individuals, churches and schools of food. We work in partnership with other agencies in the Rayleigh area who have contact with individuals who are in crisis and for whatever reason are in need of support by the provision of a few days food items. The agency then contacts Hopeworx and then collects the food packs and delivers them to the client. To support this work we have a reused furniture warehouse in Brook Road, Rayleigh where we take donations of furniture and electrical appliances. We sell to the general public and proceeds of these sales support the provision of emergency food packs and also the provision of essential furniture items.
