We are a charity organizations that is committed to the great commission of transforming and supporting lives to enable one reach and fulfill destinies. We currently support families who are on low income or struggling financially. We do this through food donations, food bank etc. We also include new clothes for further support. Families who requires our support spiritually, physically, emotionally and mentally with housing needs comes to us and all this services we provide is free. We get fareshare which the organisation pays for to support but it's not enough hence we are approaching you. The families keep increasing weekly. We are also involve in the following activities below: - Religious activities - The general public/mankind - Provides other finance - Provides services The best place you can access us is at Trinity Baptist Church Canterbury, Jubilee Hall, Cow Lane. Wincheap. CT1 3RT The service users come for fellowship on Fridays and Sundays and over time we have been able to identify families who are struggling financially with various needs identify. We provide spiritual support, job fair support, housing support, immigration support and counselling support. We don't charge for any of the above services we are provide and all is welcome. Our services to the community is usually Fridays 8pm and Sundays 12:30pm. We currently collect food donations from Asda, Booker and Tesco. We are not one to do press or social media, we just love supporting, signposting and helping families in the community. Yes we do take pictures which we don't normally display due to privacy of the service users. But when we set the item's out for the next distribution, we will certainly take pictures. We currently partner with Connecting Canterbury, they offered support when one of the family with us had their central heating broke down and they offered rice cooker and small electric cooker to get by.

Canterbury Umbrella Supporting Mental health

The Canterbury Umbrella Centre aims to promote positive mental health to those in the local community and provide opportunities to the individuals we support. We run activities, trips, courses and workshops, with volunteering opportunities available. Umbrella is an informal service that boasts a wonderful cafe making fresh, home cooked meals on a daily basis.
