Oak Lodge School is for children with a wide range of complex special educational needs and disabilities. Based on the edge of the New Forest, our nurturing and therapeutic environment caters for children aged 11 to 16 with autistic spectrum condition; social, communication and sensory needs; severe and moderate learning difficulties and those with complex mental health issues. We pride ourselves on excellence and our vision promotes ‘Outstanding Achievement and Knowledge for Life’ offering all our students the very best opportunities to be successful socially, emotionally and academically in preparation for adulthood, independent living and employment. We offer a varied and diverse curriculum and as a specialist arts college we excellent facilities enabling students to excel in art, drama and music. We are a charity community preschool for local children aged between 2 years and 4 years old. Many of our children live in flats without gardens, therefore have little access to an outside space. Many of our families are on a low income and the children really benefit from having outside activities and a healthy snacks at Pre-School.
