Our organisation : Be Kind is a charity that provides support to service users at food banks, women's refuges and the homeless community in Birmingham We operate a food bank in Birmingham city centre centre every Monday evening Be Kind aims to improve the lives of those in need and less fortunate by providing kindness. We do this by providing essentials like food and non-perishable goods to homeless charities and other organisations.... spreading warmth, love and kindness to all. -

Surplus food we collect from our Neighbourly providers is re-distributed in the community in several locations of Solihull and surrounding areas. Our good cause is supporting people living in poverty, refugees, and asylum seekers. We provide ongoing support to people in need through a number of initiatives, including free English language classes for refugees and surplus food distribution for people living in poverty, among many others. Our distribution model does not involve and has never involved any charges. We provide sessional care for 2 – 4 year olds during term time and offer a secure, welcoming and stimulating environment for our Pre-School children, enabling the transition between home and school. We aid children to make a positive contribution to our provision and the wider community; instilling a sense of self-worth, development of independence and the provision of decision making opportunities. Our Pre-School is accessible to all of the local community, ensuring that our service meets their needs. Whilst actively promoting equality and valuing diversity in our setting. Our aim is to create a safe, secure setting where all children, families and staff are valued, empowered and happy to grow and learn together. Children will actively learn through play and develop independence, confidence and self-esteem, skillfully supported by qualified practitioners who seek to foster a lifelong love of learning.
