With the levels of unemployment, along with the number of low-paid employees living in Brent, many residents find themselves at a crisis point. They are unable to feed their families and provide for life’s basic needs. There may, however, be many other challenges within the family, which may contribute to the family crisis. It is bearing this in mind that the Centre of Help and Hope was conceived. The Centre provides the following services: Food bank Clothing hub Befriending service Gardening services Counselling services Light domestic help Vocational skills Intentional parenting courses

We are a charity based in Bedfordshire who support families, young people and children with additional need and disabilities. We have 1,195 families who attend our activity clubs. We provides services and support to all the members of the family. We offer holiday clubs, trips and attractions, swimming, parent/carer support, Saturday club, FUN youth club, young adults club, link projects and disability training. Our mission Families United Network will deliver and sustain the highest quality projects in order to meet our service users needs. We will consistently evolve so we meet tomorrows challenges whilst ensuring we operate ethically and with-in financial boundaries. I began my journey doing charity work around 2021, with non-profits, and from this my passion grew helping others who are less fortunate. Now, in March 2025, I have founded BelovedXCare, with a team of dedicated individuals who assist me in collecting nutritious surplus food from local stores and supermarkets and we redistribute them to those that are in need including low-income families, single parents and the homeless. We are eager to do our part in reducing food waste whilst supporting those in need. My wish is that everyone would recognise the need and be able to do the same in helping others.
