The Food with Love Community Pantry is a community food club, run by and for its members offering good quality, healthy and nutritious food through low cost membership. In June this year (2022) Food with Love (FwL) launched a new and innovative service aimed to empower the residents of the London Borough of Hounslow. The FwL Community Pantry helps families living on the threshold to sustain their livelihoods whilst maintaining their self worth and dignity. We are a community resource; here for those who need us. Our main aim is to; - Support and strengthen the self-esteem of members - Increase self-reliance and resilience - Reduce reliance on food banks. Each member makes a small contribution towards the cost of the food they choose during their weekly visit to the Pantry. To ensure that essential staples are always available the Pantry reinvests all of its member’s fees to buying stock. One of the ethos of FwL is to help decrease the amount of food that is needlessly sent to landfill each year. FwL collects and redistributes surplus stock from supermarkets and food manufacturers within the London Borough of Hounslow. The nature of suppliers means that the supplies are varied every week.

Gurseva is a grassroots community charity working to tackle food insecurity, reduce social isolation, and create opportunities for people to thrive. We support vulnerable individuals and families across our local communities by redistributing nutritious food, providing community meals, and delivering projects that promote wellbeing, inclusion, and youth leadership. We work with a diverse range of people, including families struggling with the rising cost of living, older people, refugees and asylum seekers, people experiencing homelessness, and individuals who are socially isolated. Through our food support programmes and community activities, we help people access healthy food, build confidence, develop new skills, and strengthen connections within their communities. Support through Neighbourly would make a significant difference to our work. Surplus food donations enable us to provide fresh, nutritious food to people who need it most while reducing food waste and supporting environmental sustainability. We also welcome volunteers from local businesses who can help with food collections, sorting and packing food parcels, preparing community meals, supporting community events, gardening projects, and mentoring young volunteers through our community leadership programme. By partnering with local businesses through Neighbourly, we can increase our impact, support more people facing hardship, reduce food waste, and create stronger, healthier, and more connected communities.

We are a local community centre that has been running for over 24 years. For those of you that know Cranford Library, we are across the road and for most others you may pass us on the A4 as you head towards Terminal 1, 2 or 3 at Heathrow airport We provide the following services: - Food donation and food support During the winter period - we provide cooked meals from local restaurants - feeding around 100+ people a day Food bank - where and when possible we provide surplus food from the local community on a weekly basis Anyone and everyone is welcome !!! All our food is provided at no cost - FREE - Mental Health Support This is a key service that is provided, we are not medical professionals, rather support advocates that are ready to listen, have extensive experience with mental health and ready to guide and assist those in need to ensure the correct support is achieved This is a free of charge service, open to all - After School Club This is takes place every day during the school week and is open to children under 13 - Teaching and Training - Faith facilities - Diverse Cultural and Multi Cultural Hub
