Holy Nation Church north London food program distribute food to the local community around Camden, Islington. Westminster. Our main users are elderly, single parents, students, homeless, people who struggling with finance situation, loneliness, people from Ukraine. We reach out people on the street and to the poorer housing estate neighbourhood with single parent, elderly, students. homeless hostel. We have a network of elderly people help out distribute food to the needy families in the same time feeling their life been filled with joy and benefit from the surplus food. if we have good amount of surplus donation regularly we are able to reach-out at least 50 people a day, 4-7 times a day, from our church members vehicles on the street, and deliver to their home front door or near by collecting point. We been running since 2019 and as long as we able to hold of good supply of surpluses. We will be able to distribute and visit and pray for people in need.

The Holly Lodge Community Centre is a small registered charity run by volunteers, serving our local community. Located on the site of a former dining pavilion on the historic Holly Lodge Estate in Highgate, London, we have two venues: Holly Lodge Community Centre, situated at 30 Makepeace Avenue, and Holly Lodge Nursery, located one street away in Oakeshott Avenue. Holly Lodge Community Centre is a welcoming community hub in Highgate that offers a range of activities, events, and support for local residents. We provide opportunities for people to come together through social activities, fitness and wellbeing sessions... free creative classes, £4 lunch clubs, film club (free), and free advice services, helping people stay active, connected, and supported in their community. We also make our space available for classes, meetings, workshops, and other local events, so the centre can continue to be a friendly and useful place for community life. We identify service users and their needs through regular engagement with local residents, direct feedback, and close links with community partners. As a community centre, we are in ongoing contact with people through our activities, events, and informal day-to-day conversations, which helps us understand the issues affecting them. Surplus food donations would be distributed to local residents and community members who are facing financial hardship, food insecurity, or isolation. We would use the donations in a safe and organised way through the community centre, helping people access useful food items while reducing waste.

All members are SEN who will work on projects for SEN youngsters to be trained to help SEN families. Our initial project is on sourcing cheap food from doners from whom we pick up food and redistributed to SEN families. We hope to train up SEN young people to be involved in picking up and redistributing food. We hope to train them via fundings raised from charities where they will be paid whilst learning job skills to benefit the SEN community - Charities start at home is our motto. After food, we hope to engage with other meaningful projects, to be discussed and decided by SEN members. We have 10 members for now. We did receive an award from Camden on Faith & Belief when we were trading in name of Special Cooperative. Unfortunately due to some unworth behaviour by some members, by majority vote, we have decided to register with the Companies House, with a Constitution in a CIC format.
