How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Sainsbury's has donated money, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Lincoln Foodbank

Lincoln, UK

Lincoln Foodbank is part of Acts Trust - a Lincoln-based charity founded by Alive Church in 2006, with the aspirational goal of poverty elimination in the city. Acts is community-led, existing to inspire and empower local residents to both recognise and find solutions to community problems. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to live as a valued member of a positive and flourishing community, and as such we exist to help nurture both individual and community development. Much of our work is with people aged 16+ supporting them into a life free from poverty. We support through tangible aid such as food (through our Lincoln Foodbank project), clothing and furniture, but we also provide advice and guidance (such as debt advice) - all of which is done relationally through mentoring and befriending.
