How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Sainsbury's has donated money, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Newbury Cancer Care

Thatcham, UK

We are a small and independent local charity. Established in 1984, we provide a Transport Service to hospital for appointments connected with your diagnosis, Counselling, Complementary Therapies and small financial grants. Our 26 Volunteer Drivers can give you a one-to-one service to help relieve some of the stress involved in getting to the hospital. We can provide small financial grants to those in need and we fund services such as physiotherapy, lymphoedema clinics, Diversional Therapy, aromatherapy and reflexology. We are the parent charity for the Rosemary Centre and the four hospice rooms "Rainbow Rooms" at West Berkshire Community Hospital. We have successfully raised funds to build a new Renal Dialysis & Advanced Cancer Care Centre, called The Rosemary Centre, at the West Berkshire Community Hospital, but need help with donations to help run this fantastic facility .
