This is a volunteer run group to support those in need at this difficult time due to cost of living and fuel crisis We have grown! We now have a lot more people using our service,and we now provide hot food free of charge We are open Thursdays between 10 and 12 And Tuesdays between 12 .30 and 2.30 Donations can be given directly to us,or,at a donation collection point in Dunelms on London road in Hemel Hempstead Cleaning products Kitchen/toilet roll Sauces,spices,pasta,spaghetti,biscuits,chocolate,tinned meat,fish,salt pepper,mustard,crisps,deserts,toiletries LITERALLY anything! Thank you from all of us We have tea and coffee,hot food and sweet goodies! We are a warm safe hub for everyone and anyone We are a non judgemental group and welcome anyone from all walks of life We cook roast dinners once a month,Christmas dinner on Christmas Day An organisation called “ one impossible thing@come along every three months with re furbed/new trainers for the guys( who wear out a pair of trainers every 2-4 weeks walking the streets) We ask for donations as well of pants,socks,hats,and scarves etc to keep people warm What most of our users say,is that”no one judges them”,and it’s nice to feel normal for that two hours People are using it as a social experience as well We can give a listening ear,comfort people,and point people in the right direction for help and advice where needed We have amazing support from people donating,but always need more! Everyone welcome We also run a foodbank at all saints in kings langley Tuesdays 10-11.30 And st Benedict’s Wednesday 10-12

We run a foodbank every Friday 6.30pm - 8pm from our Church Hall here in Bennetts End, Hemel Hempstead. Everyone is welcome to collect food, there is no charge and no referral is required to access our foodbank. We allow you to choose your food items, so you get the food you like, which helps everyone save on waste. We also offer light refreshments, so come along and stay for a chat with our friendly volunteers! Each week we collect surplus food from Sainsburys, Aldi and Gail's bakery. We also receive milk and fruit from Office Pantry. If you would like to donate to us, we would welcome any non-perishable food items and also accept food that would otherwise go to waste. We also donate toiletries to our service users and baby goods - nappies, wipes, milk and babyfood. Any surplus donations would be incredibly welcome!

Our aim is to To eradicate food poverty in Luton and support people so that they can take steps to overcome the problems that brought them to us. Our principles are to run entirely for the benefit of people in and around Luton who need emergency food. We make no profit and are not be aligned to any faith group. We are non-judgemental. We provide free, nutritionally balanced, and culturally appropriate food to people in hardship or distress who are referred by a network of partner agencies and signposting information to local advice and information services. We promote healthy eating, local opportunities for food growing, the development of a community food, purchasing scheme, co-operative working, social cohesion and the principles of Fair Trade. How it works: 1. Non-perishable food is donated at collection points across the town 2. Volunteers take the food to our warehouse and sort it into boxes which provide enough for one person for up to three days 3. People needing food are given a voucher by front-line professional agencies such as Luton Advice Network, Age Concern, children’s centres, mental health charities, etc 4. These referral agencies also offer immediate advice on dealing with the problems leading to the visit 5. Clients present their vouchers at one of the many distribution points across Luton 6. Professionals from Citizens Advice are on hand to offer further advice 7. We log usage patterns to identify individuals with recurring problems who may need further help
