We turn surplus food into healthy meals for those who need them. Since April 2020, we've provided over 1.8 million meals free of charge. In its most simple terms, we turn surplus food into nourishing meals for people that need them, free of charge and without judgement. By making our service available to all, without the need to prove need, we reach some of the most marginalised people across Edinburgh. We believe nourishing food is a basic human right and there should be no barriers to accessing it. Our core service is the delivery of a 'Day Pack', which comprises a day’s worth of nourishing meals. Community volunteers then package these meals ready for delivery across Edinburgh.

Rock Trust aims to end youth homelessness in Scotland by ensuring that every young person has access to expert youth specific services to assist them to avoid, survive and move on from homelessness. We advise, educate and support young people to enable them to build the personal skills and resources required to make a positive and healthy transition to adulthood. We also work to ensure that the public, policy makers, commissioners and practitioners understand the issues, make decisions and take action which will end youth homelessness. We believe that accommodation, support, education and employment are the best routes off the streets and away from the misery that accompanies homelessness; leading to a better future for our young people. We currently work in Edinburgh, Glasgow, West Lothian, East Lothian, Fife and Perth with over 900 young people in the last year, helping them to move on to a better future.
