We are a self-funding branch of the RSPCA. We raise money locally to fund our animal welfare work to prevent cruelty, promote kindness and rescue, rehabilitate & rehome animals in need in our branch area. Registered charity number 1209355. The RSPCA mission is to, by all lawful means, prevent cruelty, promote kindness to and alleviate suffering of all animals. The majority of our cats are placed within our network of foster homes located in our branch area. Our foster homes are able to work with the cats in a calming home environment which helps improve their wellbeing before finding their new homes. We support our Inspectorate wherever we can and can offer financial assistance to help the animals most in need within our branch area. When resources & space allow we may be able to provide assistance with stray cat colonies.
