Argos Winnersh (Inside Sainsbury's)

We work to improve the lives of the homeless, vulnerable and those in need within our community. the term 'in need' encompasses all situations whether due to poverty, deprivation, mental illness, terminal illness, any other disability or general vulnerability. we aim to generate income to enable us to assist where we can, responding directly or acting as a catalyst in working with other bodies.

Share Shinfield is part of the Share Wokingham charity, making surplus food from supermarkets available for local people to come and collect, combatting food waste, as well as helping those that might otherwise struggle to afford their weekly shop. Share Shinfield is open every Monday 1145-1pm at the School Green Centre in Shinfield . Locals are invited to come and choose from a range of amazing food that would otherwise go into landfill, and then stay for tea, coffee, cake and a chat. Donation of £1. Members of the church will be available to chat, so if attendees have need for clothing, shoes, toys, equipment or household items, we may be able to assist further.
