How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Sainsbury's has donated money, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

L'Arche Belfast - Root Soup

Belfast, UK

We provide culinary training to adults with learning disabilities, supported by staff and volunteers - we also provide community lunches in many locations providing a hot meal for many homeless, elderly and people isolated from society. Root Soup gathers together weekly to prepare soups, breads, and desserts but we are much more than just another food establishment. Root Soup believes deeply in community and the benefits that come along with it. Through our training people are given the space and assistance needed to let their gifts shine. This opportunity provides trainees with not only excellent culinary skills but allows them to gain motivation, purpose, confidence, and team working skills, all essential skills needed for successful employment.
