How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Sainsbury's has donated money, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Carrickfergus, UK

The Cithrah Foundation is a Christian Organisation that aims to meet the needs of individuals and families in need of support. Items of benefit: Toiletries, new towels/bedding, food and monetary donations are greatly appreciated. We provide support, counselling and information for people seeking help in a crisis. We also provide short term accommodation for women and their children who find themselves homeless due to domestic abuse in the family home. This accommodation provides housing in five self-contained, four with two bed roomed flats and one with one bedroom and disabled access. Support for residents whilst they are accommodated with us and help to move on into independent living in their own homes with resettlement work. Our Community Support Services include advice services, counselling, court accompaniment, befriending, group work and signposting services. We work with people of all ages, backgrounds and gender who have been impacted by domestic abuse or are currently in a situation where they are experiencing abuse and the surrounding issues. The abuse includes, physical abuse; emotional abuse; verbal abuse; financial abuse; sexual abuse and coercive control. Service users can self-refer, or refer through partnering agencies such as PSNI, Social Services, NIHE, Domestic Violence Helpline, GP’s, Churches and local Community groups.
