It is our goal to reduce food waste and to provide the local community with the means to feed their families without the need for foodbanks and charitable handouts. We work with suppliers and distribution centers to buy their surplus stock, stock that has damaged packaging and stock past its best before date in order to be able to sell it cheaply to local families. We believe that no-one should be forced to beg for food and be reliant on hand-outs and through our shop people can feed their families, increasing self-worth and self-esteem.
