Homeless Not Hopeless

Keighley, UK

Homeless Not Hopeless is a voluntary organisation established in December 2019. The organisation is run by founder Matt alongside a committed team of trustees and volunteers, all with different backgrounds and expertise. ▸ What We Do ◂ Our volunteers run an outreach service from Bradford Forster Square Arches at 7pm every Wednesday and the first and third Saturday of the month. Our team serve food and hand out clothing, toiletries and necessities to the homeless and less fortunate every week, as well as providing a food bank service. We love having a chat and are available to signpost people to relevant organisations. Whether it's a hot meal, warm clothing or just a friendly face, we are on hand to help and support people in need - no referral needed, no questions asked. Be it through anger or compassion, our determination comes from the injustice that is homelessness in 21st Century Britain. Everybody should have a place to live. ▸ How You Can Help ◂ We are seeing increasing numbers of service users every week, with sometimes over 100 people coming to see us on some outreach evenings. We are looking for tinned and fresh produce close to their best before dates for our food bank service at outreach. We are happy to collect from the Skipton, Keighley and Bradford area every Wednesday afternoon/evening or Saturday afternoons (first and third of the month).
