We operate from our Foodbank Centre Monday to Thursday between 10.30am - 12.30pm and Friday 11am-1pm. We have a team of about 15 volunteers each day who : Receive food donations. Date and sort these into categories and store them in our warehouse Transfer food from the warehouse to the picking shelves Pick Food Boxes for 4 different family sizes Meet with clients identify any signposting needs Offer prayer if agreed Give food to clients.

Angie's Angels Community Group Cic

Angie's Angels works closely with Sanctuary trust to provides furniture, soft furnishings, food, and clothing to people who have recently returned to housing, or experiencing financial difficulties. We are currently helping Sanctuary trust to provide a food delivery service to people who are finding it hard to go and obtain food for themselves due to illness or disability . We recently opened a community café which is open two days a week, offering low cost healthy food. The café has a crisis worker who is available to offer support with anything for homelessness to benefit issues. We are hoping to open a food club in the next few weeks.

Home-Start Rochdale and Bury

Home-Start is a charity in Rochdale and Bury offers practical and emotional support for expectant parents and children up to 12 years. We recruit parent volunteers from the community, to visit families within their own homes, helping to prevent crisis and breakdown. Support is weekly and supports families who are lonely, isolated and struggle to manage family life on a daily basis. We offer telephone support for parent, group support sessions and community outings. Families with a child on the Autistic Spectrum are also supported by other parents who have been through similar circumstances, offering coping strategies and ideas to support their child. We need new volunteers to support families! We need new Trustees to help manage the charity! Please contact us if you can help.
