St Petrocs is an independent Cornish charity. We’re working to end homelessness in Cornwall by providing support and advice, supported accommodation and a skills and employment service to people who are experiencing homelessness. Many of the people we work with are having one of the most difficult times of their lives while they try to navigate homelessness and secure accommodation to be able to build the foundations to move forward in their lives. Since 1986, St Petrocs has provided a range of services aimed at ending homelessness in Cornwall. We currently have two resource centres, where people experiencing homelessness can access essential resources such as food, showers and support to find somewhere to live. Our Outreach team are able to provide support to people in rural areas that are unable to travel to our resource centres. Freshfield drug and alcohol counselling service and telephone helpline for people, their families and friends. As of July 2025, we have 24 houses across Cornwall accommodating 166 people, where our teams provide support to help people find a permanent place to live, and other support to gain independence. In the winter months, our Winter Service provides crucial emergency accommodation and comprehensive support, ensuring those in need had a safe place to stay during freezing temperatures. In 2024, We ended homelessness for 537 people 1,402 people engaged across all our services 183 people were prevented from sleeping rough 346 people lived in a St Petrocs house

Home-Start Kernow offers free support, friendship and practical help to families with under 5's in Cornwall. The service covers the whole of Cornwall and offers home visits, groups for parents to attend with their little ones, and practical support. Our groups are a mixture of family hub based groups and outdoor based groups, where families focus on being outdoors in nature, making things, planting seeds, and generally creating memories! We are looking for donations of anything we can do craft activities with as well as bulbs/seeds.
