How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Sainsbury's has donated money, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Alice (Relief Of Poverty & Advancement Of Community)

Stoke-on-Trent, UK

To support families within the communities of Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme with the right things, at the right time, in the right way, when no-one else can. We support some of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable families, children and young people living in poverty in the areas of Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. We work directly with families in times of crisis. Underpinned by the values of compassion, offering unconditional love, showing kindness and courage, the charity makes a tangible, practical, mental and emotional difference to their lives. We offer that unconditional love and support you would give to your own family if they were in need - a helping hand when times get tough; a cuppa and a chat when life seems to be out of control; food in the fridge, a danger-free home, debt advice, new parent support, a good night’s sleep and a great day at school. It’s a hand up to a better future.
