How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Sainsbury's has donated money, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Focus Ireland

Dublin 8, Ireland

Focus Ireland works with people who are homeless or at risk of losing their homes across Ireland. We are driven by the fundamental belief that homelessness is wrong. Wrong because it is a failure of society that creates victims out of ordinary people and robs them of their potential. Wrong because it can be prevented and solved but is allowed to continue, thereby undermining our society. Since 1985, Focus Ireland has been the leaders in tackling the root causes of homelessness and we have a history of delivering innovative, long-term solutions. Ireland has been experiencing a housing crisis for the last decade. Due to the severity of the crisis, the Irish State has been forced to provide emergency responses and accommodation rather than delivering long-term solutions. While this is understandable, it is not a permanent or sustainable solution. At Focus Ireland, we do not just seek to manage the crisis, we seek to solve it.
