How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Sainsbury's has donated money, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Seaside Hub

Eastbourne, UK

A Traditional Community Centre in Eastbourne which includes a Community Fridge and Shop, After-School Clubs, 3 Parties for the Children each year, Cookery Classes, Community Feasts, Lending Library of Things, Camerado's (Public Living Room). A year round welcoming, warm, safe space to have a hot drink, something to eat and someone to talk too with help and advice on where further help can be accessed. We identified the need for a Community Centre in 2016 and most of our clients live within a few minutes walk, but everyone is welcome. We ask for a small donation for the Fridge, refreshments and the clubs if people can afford it.
