Myself together with 5 amazing ladies formed a voluntary group with the aim of helping the needy residents of Borehamwood, Hertfordshire . We found a venue, visited the local shops and together with some food donations we fed 31 families in our 1st week and 53 in our 2nd! WD6 Food Support was officially opened by Councillor Michelle Vince who represents one of the most deprived areas in Hertsmere! If anyone could help us with donations that would be amazing. We are now moving to new premises within a local school which is in a really deprived area of our community and we hope we will be able to help alleviate some of the food poverty in the area.

We are here to support people in crisis with food to last 3 days depending on your family size. Additionally we have immediate access to Citizens Advice services, run free family lunches over holiday and half term periods and have grants for fuel over winter periods.
