We offer a FREE Befriending Service for anyone over 65 suffering with loneliness. Based in Newmarket, our service also covers Bury St Edmunds, Haverhill, Lakenheath, Mildenhall, Brandon. DBS checked and trained volunteers visit clients in their own homes offering companionship and support by having a cup of tea and a chat once a week. This low level interaction is crucial for those that can go days without seeing or speaking to anyone often having only the TV for company.. We help people feel like part of the community again and give them something to look forward to every week by seeing a friendly face.
