Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.
Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.
Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.
Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Welcome to our vibrant community hub — a place where the people of Cumbernauld come together to connect, share, and support one another. Our hub offers a warm and welcoming space for teas and coffees, encouraging conversation and helping to build a strong sense of community. We are committed to addressing food insecurity through our community pantry, which is stocked with fresh produce and essential items to ensure no one goes without a nutritious meal. The pantry operates at a cost of £3 per visit and is supplied through food purchased from FareShare and local supermarkets, funded through our available grants and support. Taking sustainability to heart, we also run a FREE community fridge and freezer initiative, rescuing surplus food that would otherwise go to landfill while supporting individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. In addition, our community hub promotes a strong reuse and recycling ethos by providing a platform for the exchange of goods and materials, including clothing and furniture.

ROOTS Helping Hands Food Share are a non-profit organisation. We currently run a food bank, handing out parcels to those in need. Also to help tackle waste we collect food from stores and distribute in a food larder. Based in Bonnybridge we also help the surrounding areas of Denny, Camelon and Banknock. We have also run an activity scheme over the summer to help tackle hunger for children missing free school meals, feeding almost 1000 people over the duration of the club.
