The Hub School

The Hub School is a specialist provision for students with Social Emotional Mental Health Needs. We are able to support our students by offering extra support for their emotional wellbeing as well as a tailored learning package. Our students are transported in door to door from across the East Riding of Yorkshire and we offer a free breakfast package and free school meals as well as snacks throughout the day. We work in conjunction with local foodbanks to support our families and help to enable them to have less pressure for some essential items. Many of our staff donate to ensure hampers are sent home at Christmas and Easter to every student on our site. Our belief is that The Hub School is transforming lives.

Help the Homelezz

Goole, UK

Our registered charity (1214111) currently travels out onto the streets across ERYC and further twice a week in search and to help homeless and vunerable individuals. We provide warm meals, snacks, warm and cold drinks, donated bedding and clothing. To do this we solely depend on the local community but we are in desperate need for help with items such as thermal bags for the food, new flasks, and items such PPE and more food of which all is to help the homeless. We have a group of 7 volunteers who give their free time each week including my daughter at the age of 14. Help the Homelezz was initially set up at the beginning of Covid-19 , some 19 months ago, and we have provided food parcels, and food to those most needing it. To this day now we still help families and individuals struggling with crisis's with regards to day to day living and those whom have no food. We do not discriminate any individual needing such help. This grant would help our charity continue to give this help and would massively help us with purchasing the bags and flasks.
