Contix CIC
Sheffield, UK
We provide supported housing for complex needs residents. The people we help are affected by homelessness, substance misuse, mental health, and physical health issues. We believe in service user experience, and the principles of service user involvement lead our services. Connections Housing has TUPE transferred over to Contix, and basically, we are keeping all Connections staff. We have taken in all of the Connections residents. We currently operate from only 108 Shirecliffe Lane, Sheffield, S3 9AE. We identify service users from referrals from the Police, Probation, Council, Homeless services, drug/alcohol services, NHS and other agencies. External agencies identify all of our referrals and resident needs. Most house residents desperately need help in all aspects of their lives. We formulate a support plan with them, external referral agencies and Contix staff and begin working on them. Most come from chaotic backgrounds, so your donations will be highly beneficial. We provide supported housing services; food is part of the overall housing support. We don't charge for this service. All of our funding for support comes from the Local authorities. We are authorised to refer and sign food bank vouchers for the Trussell Trust in Sheffield.
