We are Action for Barnsley homeless, are a self funded group. On a Tuesday evening in Barnsley we run a kitchen , where the homeless or less fortunate, struggling family’s can come, they receive a hot meal and dessert, clothing , hygiene products , sleeping bag , roll mat. They also go away with a food bag with sandwiches and pasties, biscuits, and a drink . If they need advice on where they can get other help and services we point them in the right direction , if they can be put into temporary accommodation for the night we will make phone calls to crisis teams and do our best to find them somewhere .

We are a day provision for adults with additional needs. We are open 5 days a week where our adults can come to a safe and caring environment that supports them to grow as a person. We support our adults to become more independent, we do this by supporting them to cook a healthy meal, accessing the community and taking part in volunteering, we do many more activities that help support our adults to feel a sense of pride and belonging within our community.
