D Hub 67 CIC is a grassroots community hub based in Seacombe, Wirral, supporting individuals and families facing increasing pressure from the cost-of-living crisis. Our hub provides access to surplus food, warm meals, community activities and wellbeing support for local residents experiencing financial hardship, isolation and rising living costs. We redistribute surplus food that would otherwise go to waste, helping households reduce food costs while also supporting a more sustainable approach to food use. On most days between 60 and 80 people attend the hub to access food support, and recently almost 300 people queued in a single morning, highlighting the growing need within our community. Alongside food provision, D Hub 67 offers a welcoming space where people can connect with others, share meals and take part in activities that support wellbeing and confidence. We run cooking sessions focused on preparing affordable meals using surplus ingredients, family cooking activities and an eco-friendly community garden created using donated plants and seeds. Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. Many of our volunteers first came to the hub for support themselves and now play a vital role in welcoming visitors, sorting food and helping run activities. Their involvement ensures the hub remains community-led and responsive to local needs. We are also introducing one-to-one wellbeing coaching sessions delivered by a qualified Health and Wellbeing Coach with previous experience working within the Primary Care Network supporting patients through GP practices. These sessions provide a safe space for people to talk about challenges they are facing and receive guidance and signposting to further support services where needed. D Hub 67 works closely with local organisations across Wirral to connect people with additional support including mental health services, domestic abuse support, financial advice and family support services. Through our work we aim to create a safe, welcoming space where people feel supported, valued and connected to their community. Support from businesses and volunteers through Neighbourly helps us continue responding to growing need and strengthen the support available to local residents.

Lumi Place CIC is a company based in New Ferry Wirral that is dedicated to helping the community. We are actively involved in fighting food, hygiene, and period poverty. We are operating from own shop premises located in New Ferry Precinct, where we providing FREE OF CHARGE all surplus we do have available. With our efforts, we aim to make a positive impact and improve the lives of those in need. Lumi Place CIC is committed to providing support, resources, and assistance to individuals and families facing these challenges. Through our initiatives, we are strive to create a more inclusive and equitable society for everyone in the community. We serve community by providing food surplus (when available) to every member of public, we also delivering any surplus and hygiene products to homeless shelters like Rosebrae and The Bridge in Birkenhead. We also provide help to local Primary School where we redistributing food surplus, children hygiene products and feminine hygiene products. Our little sister department PePo Bank who fight period poverty supplying any feminine hygiene products to local companies and offices to help woman in need or poverty go through their difficult days. We are proud that within our community we have all spectrum of users. Our youngest users are just tern 18 and they struggling with finance wellbeing so we can provide for them food, household items, clothes , hygiene products and much more. The oldest user of ours is 96 years old and she depending on our food donations. Other elderly members are 70 - 90 years old and they using us for getting food surplus, help in little house repairs and also in what is most important company, so their can talk to someone. We also proudly helping to Ukrainian War refugees living in our community. Lumi Place is helping Community of New Ferry to get back to the state like before 2017 when huge gas explosion put this place and its community in depravation state.

Serving the people of Birkenhead and the Wirral since 1892, we provide hot food, clothing, toiletries, other basic essentials, along with much love, care and compassion. We treat people with dignity and kindness. Monday to Friday we are a drop in centre for the homeless and needy. We provide food, clothing, blankets, toiletries, pots and pans and everything plus the kitchen sink. If you need it, we will do our best to get it. We have shower facilities on site that are available for use during our opening hours, weekly medical help from the GP, nurse, drug service, one a month a podiatrist and optician. We are also here if you need advice with applications, accommodation or finance or just someone to talk to.
