How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Sainsbury's has donated surplus food, money and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD STOCKTON CIC

Stockton-on-Tees, UK

RCCG Stockton CIC is a Christian Faith based community interest group that provide assistance to the less privileged in the community. We provide social, psychological and often material support for individuals and families within Teesside, county Durham and Tyneside. We provide emotional support and ensuring they are living fulfilled life. RCCG Stockton is dedicated to funding and delivering charitable services to our local community and we strive to inspire and improve the lives of those who need assistance. We have over three years experience in helping people stay worm and dry through our charity, and food distribution to the less privilege, as well as vulnerable people and families on low incomes in the community. We help anybody who needs our support; young, old, single people and families from all backgrounds, religious beliefs and ethnic origins, without prejudice. The one thing they all have in common is that we aim to treat everyone fairly and with dignity. There is no charge for the food.

Fresh Start Project CIC

Stockton-on-Tees, UK

We support homeless males to get their lives back on track by providing safe and secure accommodation. We do this by supporting the individual to register with a doctor dentist ensuring better health and wellbeing. We have 29 places over three buildings and help all ages our referrals come from all surrounding North East HMP Prisons, Probation services and Regional borough council homeless departments. A lot of our clients have very low incomes so rely on foodbanks and donations to get them through the week or month as Universal credit claims are paid monthly this can be a very long time to money manage. Who are we? We are a Community Interest Company (CIC) working in and around the Stockton-on-Tees area supporting males with a varying range of complex needs, including but not limited to: Mental Health Needs, Autism/Asperges, Learning Difficulties, Drug and Alcohol Substance Misuse Difficulties as well as being or at risk of being homeless. We currently have 3 sites: Portrack Lane Project, Westbourne Street Project, and Yarm Road Project. Our vision is simple; “Providing Opportunities, Hope and Fresh Starts to those in need” we work with males that are homeless or at risk of homelessness providing housing related support and social inclusion related support. We aim to provide our care and support in a person-centered holistic approach. We understand and are disheartened by the stigma associated with Mental Health and substance misuse difficulties. We try and raise awareness for our colleagues in partnering agencies with the view of reducing the stigma associated with such needs. Should your organization like some awareness regarding Mental Health and Substance misuse difficulties, please feel free to contact us on the details provided at the end of this newsletter. We offer support both in the projects and on an “outreach” basis working with males struggling with substance misuse difficulties and complex needs including mental health needs.
