The Foresight Initiative is a community interest company that helps individuals from all backgrounds through education, self-empowerment, and supportive community services. We seek a society where everyone gets equal chances for success and stresses unity, progress, fellow feeling, and charity. We provide quality learning, student services, and collaboration to foster social inclusion and sustainability. We empower individuals from all backgrounds by providing access to quality education, FOOD BANK, personal growth, and community support. Together, we create an inclusive society where everyone has the chance to succeed and thrive. Our food bank primarily serves students in Newcastle who are struggling with the high cost of living. We deliver food supplies directly to those in need, aiming to support them during challenging times. In addition to the food bank, we organize breakfast, lunch and dinner events where we serve meals and distribute food donated by charities, While these donations are very helpful, they are not always sufficient to meet all needs. To supplement this, we also purchase essential items at reduced prices to ensure we can provide adequate support to the people who rely on us. There is no charge for the food donations or the services we provide; our goal is to support the community without any financial barrier.

We provide: - friendship and food, 52 weeks of a year - 200 + 3 course hot meals served at the kitchen, 7 days a week - nearly new clothing and sleeping bags - shower facilities - "Your Futures" programme to help towards independent living - Social events, which help our friends combat loneliness and isolation as well as equipping them with important skills. We have over 200 volunteers who donate their time and with no staffing costs and no government grants, 82% of all donations go to supporting our clients.

St Vincent's Centre Newcastle provides help and support to people and families in need providing a range of support from free hot meals, food parcels, clothing, toiletries and essential family items. We provide support service Monday to Friday 9am till 4pm. Every Tuesday we provide free hot meals to those most in need of food support, we supply free weekly Friday food bags to the local community which help us to prevent food waste anyone is welcome to collect a free bag. Our volunteer drivers do weekly deliveries out to people and families throughout the Newcastle / Gateshead area who are unable to come directly to us. Our Centre also have a small St Vincent's Vintage Charity Boutique. All funds raised in our shop come directly to the Centre to Support our work locally.
